A few weeks ago, we were in New York City for the Children's Club show at the Jacob Javits Center. Overall, it was an amazing experience being a part of all the collections for the Fall 2015 previews. This was our first show and I must say that I learned so much during this event; pre-show prep, booth design, move-in day....and more. We had a few setbacks during our move-in day, which had me running around the city scouring the Staples stores for some supplies we needed ASAP. I sat in the cab and it brought me back to my days of interning; running errands around town and the garment district, keeping all my post-it notes of all the addresses I needed to do drop-offs and pick-ups (making sure I didn't lose any of them with garment bags in one arm and shopping bags in the other), scouring through rolls and rolls of fabric trying to find the right pattern and stretch and rushing back in time for the next errand. Oh, I did love those days of being an intern and I definitely credit all my experience interning as a valuable asset today. Passion equals hardwork and late nights. I pinched myself a few times while walking back to the Javits Center in freezing temperatures, it was a little surreal that I was running errands for myself this time and I smiled.
